A lot of the people that I know that have played both games tell me that LoL is the easy-mode version of the MOBA games out there.  I mean come on, LoL took out the creep deny mechanic out of the game.  That right there screams easy mode.  That’s a huge factor in the competitiveness of the game.  The only thing that HoN lacks is the lack of updates for balancing issues, other than that, it’s pretty much a perfect game.
